Why is there are rule saying we can't advertise chrome on other server

Please don't ban me for this question. I just want to know why because I may want to add this as a rule on my own server.

if you advertise your own server in other server they gonna spam on your server and maybe they gonna call their griefers too grief your server and that server where you advertise your server they gonna turn your server enemy.

If you advertises chrome on other server, yes, it will attract more players. But, there's also a disadvantages of advertising chrome on other server. The server that you've advertised on will have their players decreased. Then they'll do anything they can to get their players back for example, they'll grief, spam and do other bad things to chrome.

one more reason: it's so the flow of traffic won't be directed to elsewhere. the server owners want their server to be popular.

People want to get their people legit. They dont want people to advertise their server cause they want to get their people by voting not spamming.

Sometimes they want to advertise the server. But mainly dont advertise because this forum is only meant for the Chrome Network

I dont think they would advertise their own server. One of the rules states no advertising so the staff member wont advertise chrome.

Then how do people that don't know chrome play chrome then? They don't know the ip so they don't know how to get on.
